As Karli and the Flag Smashers move forward with their attack on the GRC, Sam finally picks up the mantle passed down to him from Steve Rogers and goes to deal with the problem as the new Captain America. At Sam's request, Sharon has joined him and Bucky to try to bring the Flag Smasher problem to a peaceful resolution. However, John Walker's plans for revenge (and a not-so-unexpected reveal of the Power Broker) causes some complications. However, Sam's impact as the new Captain America starts to bear some fruit as the series comes to an end. Will we see Sam and Bucky again? The final title card for the series seems to suggest so, as well as an announcement that a new Captain America movie (focusing on Sam's Cap) is currently in development.
