Ichabod Crane is venturing out of Sleepy Hollow.

Tom Mison, who plays the loveable and out-of-time Ichabod Crane on FOX’s Sleepy Hollow, has been announced to appear at Dragon Con Labor Day weekend. Mison joins cast mate John Noble, who plays his son Jeremy Crane/Henry Parrish on the hit show loosely based on Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” tales. In the show, Mison’s Ichabod Crane is awakened after a 250-year bewitched sleep to join forces with Lt. Abbie Mills, as the biblical witnesses of Revelation with the purpose of averting the apocalypse. Crane and Mills fight various demonic forces – sometimes from within their close circle of allies – while Crane slowly learns to navigate life in the 21st century, all while connecting the present day with events from the past.

Sleepy Hollow‘s season 3 premiere is scheduled for October 1.

Dragon Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. Every Labor Day weekend, about 40,000 people crowd the streets and take over the hotels of downtown Atlanta to meet friends, celebrities, cosplay and totally geek out. This year’s event will take place September 4-7. Ticket information can be found on the official website.

Harry Potter‘s Chris Rankin announced for Dragon Con

FINALLY!!!

Chris Rankin, who played the “Head-Boy-know-it-all” Weasley brother Percy in the Harry Potter films, has been announced as one of the latest additions to the Dragon Con guest list.

Movie fans didn’t get to see much of Percy in the films, but book fans know that Percy’s “prodigal son” story arc was one of the great lessons taught in the series – about the importance of family, forgiveness, and unity.

Chris is (so far) the only Harry Potter guest confirmed this year.

Dragon Con announces Game of Thrones guests for Labor Day Weekend

Game of Thrones' Kristian Nairn has been confirmed to attend Dragon Con 2015.

Game of Thrones’ Kristian Nairn has been confirmed to attend Dragon Con 2015.

On the heels of that devastating season finale last night, it seems that some of the citizens of Westeros will make an appearance in Atlanta this September.

The Official Dragon Con Facebook page posted this teaser on their page earlier this afternoon:

For those who watched the Season Finale last night, what was your reaction in one word?

Perhaps a few cast members will want to talk about it when they join us for #DragonCon2015!

About an hour later, they announced that Kristian Nairn has been confirmed for the event. Naim plays the loveable Hodor on the show. Hodor, who is the verbally challenged travelling companion of Bran Stark, has been missing from this season due to the show placing a hiatus on Bran’s story (since they reached the end of book-Bran’s arc at the end of Season 4). Aside from his work on Thrones, Nairn is also a well-known DJ.

Finn Jones as Loras Tyrell in HBO's Game of Thrones

Also announced this afternoon is Finn Jones, who plays The Knight of Flowers, Loras Tyrell. Loras is the brother of Queen Margaery, and is currently a guest of the High Septon in the dungeons below the Red Keep in Westeros.

John Noble announced for Dragon Con 2015

John Noble will attend Dragon Con 2015 in Atlanta.

John Noble will attend Dragon Con 2015 in Atlanta.

Finally!! After months of being “ho-hum” about the current guest list, I can finally squee in fangirlish delight: John Noble, most recently known for his work on the FOX drama, “Sleepy Hollow”, has been announced to appear at Dragon Con 2015.

Noble, who is also well-known for his work on “Fringe”, plays Henry Parrish/Jeremy Crane/Horseman of War in the hit show based on the tales of Washington Irving. The character was introduced to audiences first as Parrish, a “sin eater” who was seemingly on the side of the show’s protagonists, Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills. In a shocking season one finale, it was revealed that Parrish was actually Jeremy Crane – the son of Ichabod Crane and his wife Katrina, who is a witch. The character was also revealed to be the Horseman of War, a servant of the demon Moloch sent to begin a chain of events that would lead to Moloch’s rising and an inevitable apocalypse. Henry Parrish was killed off just before the end of Season 2, but dead doesn’t always stay dead in Sleepy Hollow, so whether his character is gone for good remains to be seen.

“Sleepy Hollow” was recently renewed for a third season, which will begin in the fall.

As everyone knows, all good things must come to an end.

And with that, EyeCon announces the dates for their 8th and final convention focusing on two of the CW’s biggest hit shows, “The Vampire Diaries” and its highly successful spin-off, “The Originals”. The convention will be held October 9-11, 2015 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Downtown Atlanta.

EyeCon conventions are known for their smaller attendance size, which creates a more intimate atmosphere for guests and fans alike. Events include Q&A panels, autograph and photo op sessions, exclusive parties and dining events, as well as a dealers room.

So far, there are two guests confirmed to appear: Joseph Morgan, who plays original vampire/hybrid Klaus on “The Originals” (and in crossover episodes of “The Vampire Diaries”), and Joshua Butler, one of the directors of the show. EyeCon is known for having a full roster of guests (usually about 7 or 8), so additional guest announcements are expected.

Tickets for the event went on sale earlier today and range from $30.00 (Friday general admission) all the way up to $795.00 (Diamond Weekend Admission, which includes pretty much everything for the weekend). Ticket prices and packages can be found here.
