It’s that time of year again – DRAGON CON!!!
Although I think we can all agree that 2020 SUCKS, the good people over at Dragon Con has come through for our extended geek family by producing Dragon Con Goes Virtual, an online offering of various panels, vendor shopping sites, and other treats to give us as much normalcy for a DC weekend that they can.
This year I had the pleasure of being asked to sit on the Outlander panel for the second year in a row, and I had almost as much fun as I did last year (nothing can equate being in a room full of Outlander fans in person). You can view the panel below, and also on the Alternate and Historical Fiction Track’s YouTube page.
Dragon Con is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film. Every Labor Day weekend, about 80,000 people crowd the streets and take over the hotels of downtown Atlanta to meet friends, celebrities, cosplay and totally geek out. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s event will take place virtually Sept. 3-7, 2020.
